Hyundai wanted to celebrate the 10th anniversary of The Walking Dead Comic Book by transforming younger audiences' familiarity with Hyundai vehicles into genuine passion. For a generation obsessed with zombies, we created The Walking Dead Chop Shop—an app that let fans configure their own Zombie Survival Machine, equipped with flamethrowers, razor wire, machine guns, and plenty more apocalypse-ready upgrades.



From app to asphalt

Fans across the globe built and submitted over 80,000 designs for a chance to see their Zombie Survival Machine brought to life at New York Comic Con.
