We collaborated with the Google Assistant team to create two voice-controlled games for smart displays—Cookie Detective and Junior Chef—pushing the limits of voice-first experiences and taking voice gaming to the next level.
Developed for Google Nest Hub and Nest Hub Max, the games blend the best of voice and screen-based interactivity, creating playful, intuitive experiences designed specifically for smart displays.
Cookie Detective
A voice-based twist on hide-and-seek, Cookie Detective channels kids’ curiosity by turning their endless questions into clues, inviting them to track down a hidden cookie across three virtual kitchens, each with increasing levels of difficulty.
Junior Chef
Continuing the culinary theme, Junior Chef teaches kids what it means to be a chef by challenging them to direct a team of cooks in a busy restaurant—deciding how to mix ingredients and create fun, delicious dishes. As a thoughtful Easter egg, the game also rewards positive behavior, encouraging kids to speak politely to the chefs as part of the experience.
